Health Hazards

Acute:
It is a carcinogen that can cause lung cancer.
May affect the fetus.
Can irritate the skin, causing rashes. If particles enter a skin wound, they may cause ulcers.
Inhalation irritates the nose, throat, and lungs. High concentrations can cause bronchitis and pneumonia.
Long-term exposure may cause scarring in the lungs, and severe cases can lead to heart failure.
May damage the liver and kidneys.

Chronic:
Symptoms include coughing, joint pain, weakness, weight loss, clubbing of fingers, shortness of breath, cyanosis, or lung cancer.
Causes irritant dermatitis accompanied by localized swelling.
May damage the liver and kidneys and cause kidney stones.


Suggestions:
Level 1 Management: No specific regulations.
Level 2-4 Management:
Consider health conditions unsuitable for this type of work, such as cardiovascular disease, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), chronic bronchitis, asthma, contact dermatitis, chronic hepatitis, alcoholic hepatitis, and kidney diseases.
